The use of printers to generate misstate documents has become a common practice in today’s world. The investigation and identification of the printed matter in the mistrust documents may bargain important intelligence about the nature of the document. In the present study, a total number of 200 black/ white and color toner samples both from laser printers and photocopiers were exam using diffused reflectance UV-Vis spectroscope. The present research is separated into two parts; visual avoidance and discrimination by using multivariate exploration. A comparison between characteristic and quantitative characteristics showed that multivariate analysis provides 99.79% pair-wise preferential power for laser printer toners while 98.88% pair-wise preferential power for photocopier toners. The overall results gained confirm the application of UV-Vis spectroscope and chemometrics, in the nondestructive analysis of toner printed documents while enhancing their evidential value for forensic applications.
